Boosie Badazz Making Movie Appearance in ‘Glass Jaw’

Rapper Boosie Badazz will be making an appearance in the new redemption style independent movie Glass Jaw about boxer Travis Austin, according to Variety.

The movie is currently being filmed in Los Angeles and is being produced by Steve Perry and Zeus Zamani, with executive producers Tommy Vlahopoulos of Tommy V Productions, Tom Sulkowski, and Dan Gatsby of Gatsby Studios. Leo Kholofai will be playing the lead role of Travis Austin after he falls and rises again as he tries to redeem himself after his release from prison. The movie is being directed by Jeff Celentano and is based on the script written by Brandon EspyMichael TestaLee Kholafai, and Korrina Rico, the latter two being a part of the cast.

From the exclusive that was given to Variety, Boosie Badazz will be playing a “boxing bettor and underground fight club operator” in Glass Jaw who places a bet and wins money on Travis’ fight in the movie. After his own stint at Louisiana State Penitentiary on drug charges, he changed his name from “Lil Boosie” to “Boosie Badazz” after he tired of his old moniker.
